Over the past 8+ years of freelancing, I've built a number of processes and systems to guide my creativity, copywriting, and website design.

I've now reached a complex phase in my career where I no longer consider myself a freelancer. Instead, I see myself to be a budding "agency-of-one" that's navigating and learning the challenges of hiring and outsourcing tasks to other freelancers and creative talent.

Yes, that means I may outsource aspects of your project to other talented individuals to ensure everything is delivered on time and within budget.

With that said, I've wasted a lot of time on meaningless phone calls with prospects (and clients) which go unbilled.

That's time I will never get back, which negatively impacts my work flow and productivity as well as reducing my profitability as an agency-of-one.

In order to preserve my time on tasks that move the needle forward, both for my clients and my personal projects, I have decided to offer Free 20-minute meetings on Mondays.

These meetings are geared toward:

1. Discovery calls for new website projects;
2. Trouble shooting client issues; and,
3. Network & connecting with others in my industry.

For anything else, please schedule a 1-hour consultation for $150 CAD via Calendly.

My availability for a these consultations are:

Are you a winner? If so, you have to get through my screening process (goodluck, you got this!).

Then, if my website design services are a good fit, we'll negotiate a fair agreement with ongoing hosting/maintenance. Or we can transfer it to your own hosting plan for a one-time fee of $175 CAD+HST.

All agreements include a pre-determined number of creative meetings to review key milestones and design assets for your feedback and approval.

On the topic of feedback, I expect you to provide me with clear, constructive feedback. Creative, custom website design is a two-way process. Here's what I mean:

You'll need to answer a few pre-screening questions first, like: How many pages do you need? What's your budget? When do you want the site to launch?

For your convenience, here are two common scenarios:

Scenario 1. All you need is a simple site with up to 5 pages to get your business online:

Starts at $3,500 CAD+HST
Basic Hosting: $99 CAD+HST / month

Total Investment:
$4,699 CAD+HST for the first year.

Scenario 2. You want 35 pages created to compete for Google's top spots:

$16,750 CAD+HST for the first year.

Let's assume the world is perfect. You don't request any revisions. And I don't experience any backend headaches:

If this happens, I can build a:

5 page website in 14 days or less
10 page website in 30 days or less
20+ page website in 45 days or less

But the world isn't perfect. Revisions and unforeseen issues can arise, and that’s completely normal. That’s why I factor in additional time to ensure your website meets your expectations and functions flawlessly. Communication and collaboration are key, so let's work together to create something great, no matter the obstacles.

I offer a Basic Care plan that starts at $99 CAD+HST per month or $990 per year (you get 2 months free on the annual plan). This plan includes weekly updates and monitoring of your site. I send a report every 3 months to keep you in the loop.

The Maintenance Plan starts at $350 CAD+HST per month or $3,500 per year. This plan includes monthly hours dedicated to additional development and customization of your website. You can also convert your service credit for copywriting, design, and blog content.

All plans come with a website warranty. If you detect a hiccup or problem in the future, I’ll fix it at no extra charge (unless you break something, in most cases I'll revert the site back to its latest backup, which you'll have daily backups stored for 14 days).

As long as you stay on my plans, you can enjoy unlimited edits which I'll explain what that means when we talk.

But if you prefer hosting your own wesite, I recommend Kinsta for WordPress hosting. It costs as little as $35 USD a month and it's by far the best hosting company on the planet. They fix issues quickly and their team is incredibly friendly. If you choose this plan and use my partner link, I’ll assist with the transfer free of charge. Otherwise, if you go with another web hosting provider, I’ll provide you with access codes and you can hand it off to your developer, or I can assist with the transfer for a one-time fee of $175+HST.
